As the Healthcare Practice Director at HEAPY, I lead our healthcare practice with a focus on delivering environments that improve patient outcomes, enhance caregiver experience, and support long-term operational performance. My role centers on aligning strategy, innovation, and multidisciplinary collaboration to deliver resilient, forward-thinking solutions for healthcare organizations.

Over the course of my career at HEAPY, I’ve grown from a Mechanical Engineer into project leadership and practice leadership roles, with experience spanning healthcare, institutional, and complex facility design. I’ve led project teams responsible for delivering high-performance building systems, balancing clinical requirements with energy efficiency, sustainability, and technology integration. That background continues to shape how I lead today—grounded in technical understanding, but focused on outcomes, relationships, and continuous improvement.

If I could give candidates one piece of advice, it would be to think beyond individual deliverables and focus on the bigger “why” behind the work. In healthcare especially, every decision we make has a direct impact on patients, caregivers, and the overall performance of a facility. Understanding that context changes how you approach even the smallest task.
